ABOUT Ryan D. Lee

Ryan found himself taking the traditional path. His financial journey was completely normal and by the book. He followed  all of the traditional advice: he got a steady job, worked  80 hours a week,  did everything he could in order to get the next promotion  and climb the corporate ladder. Also he maxed  out his 401k contributions and followed every piece of traditional financials advice possible.  K  All in the hope that one day, he’ll save enough money to get out of the game.

But with every promotion that he got, he felt like he was giving up a part of himself in return. Each new level required more of his time, attention, and dedication while the stress kept piling on. Taking him away from his family and what he truly wanted.

In efforts to escape the corporate rat race, Ryan began educating himself on investmenting – reading books, listening to podcasts, and attending masterminds. Ryan also  learned a lot  of hard lessons during the crash of “08. Although he was constantly working and sacrificing for in order to build  wealth and playing by all the rules, his retirement accounts were cut in half during the financial crisis. Ryan felt “stuck” and although  he learned his lessons in a different place than Brad he also felt and had first had losses that traditional financial  planning was broken.

After the crash,  Ryan dusted himself  off and started moving forward again.  And this time he started to break all of the rules. He started building a real estate portfolio in 2009 and 2010 when everyone told him  he  was crazy  to do so.

This real estate portfolio, the education, and experience in non traditional investments eventually allowed   him  to become financially free in under 5 years. Through always moving forward towards his goals he was able to educate himself in a way school didn’t, build his network, and meet like-minded entrepreneurs, including two (Brad & Jimmy) that would help him reach all of his goals and change his life for good.
